How to Navigate Uncertain Times: Practical Strategies for Coping and Thriving

My most recent conversations have been focused on working through feelings of insecurity, uncertainty, and depression. From genuinely hard working, kind, beautiful people who feel lost, and overwhelmed. Who struggle with finding the motivation to keep moving forward.
The question is: How do you keep moving forward, when you feel defeated?
First and foremost, it's vital to take care of YOU. How?
Focus on the things within your control.
When you start to feel stressed, overwhelmed, anxious, scared, angry, sad or frustrated (to name a few), take a deep breathe and slowly release it. Do this a few times and focus on how you feel when you release. Repeat as necessary.
Listen to music, read a book, or meditate. Focus on the things that rebalance you from the inside out.
Reach out to trusted friends/family and talk through your feelings while supporting one another.
Workout, go for a walk, hike, ride a bike, stretch or learn something new.
Whatever you do, support yourself and those in your life. More now than ever, we need to get back to the basics of respecting, understanding, supporting and loving one another. Doing so can and will improve the state of things today. And it all starts with YOU!
